July 7: Welcome to Girls in STEM, Together we CHEM!

  • Get your own lab coat and learn about lab safety essentials
  • Movie Viewing: Picture a Scientist
  • The What, Where, and Why of biopolymers!

July 14: Colorimetric Analysis and Alginic Acid

  • Meet a female scientist
  • Experiment with colour indicators and pH
  • Create alginic acid beads

July 21: Team Day!

  • Work together to create a Youtube video highlighting your camp discoveries

July 28: Award Ceremony

  • Invite friends, family, and mentors
  • Share all you have learned
  • Receive your certificate of achievement!
