    David Lacy has won an NSF CAREER Award. The award will support the Lacy group’s development of manganese catalysts through the synthesis of libraries of new ligands and the exploration of properties and mechanisms of Mn(I) catalyst complexes. The award will also support educational initiatives to provide hands-on experiences for K-12 students and teachers in Buffalo. UB news article

    Diana Aga has won the 2019 SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Scholarship and Creative Activities! The award recognizes Diana’s sustained scholarship and significant contributions to the discipline of environmental analytical chemistry. An official press release will be forthcoming.     Tim Cook has won a NSF CAREER Award! The award will support the Cook group’s efforts to apply coordination-driven self-assembly in developing supramolecular catalysts with multiple metal centers. It will also support educational initiatives involving teacher professional development and designing classroom models to illustrate chemical self-assembly.
