Lasers, Photonics and Bio-photonics Lab of Chemistry, Physics, Medicine and Electrical Engineering UB Distinguished Professor Paras Prasad.

Housed in the Natural Sciences Complex (NSC) on the UB North Campus, the department occupies approx. 112,000 square feet of space, including 32,000 square feet for teaching laboratories and 54,000 square feet of research laboratory space.

Chemistry Instrumentation Center

The Chemistry Instrumentation Center provides state-of-the-art instrumentation for chemical analysis with the goal of facilitating research and education campus-wide.

Magnetic Resonance Center

The Magnetic Resonance Center offers state-of-the-art magnetic resonance instrumentation and offers to pursue research projects involving applications of magnetic resonance techniques.

The Department of Chemistry is in close proximity to the central Science and Engineering Information Center containing millions of books, journals and technical reports. A significant portion of the journal collection is available electronically on and off campus back as far as the early 1800s.
