Velarde receives MAC Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success

Luis Velarde from the Department of Chemistry was named a 2022-2023 recipient of the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Outstanding Faculty Award for Student Success. This award recognizes one full-time faculty member from each MAC institution who has shown exceptional dedication to student success.

Recipients of this award demonstrate an innovative teaching platform, present theory and practice that greatly enriches students’ engagement and provide a model for higher education.
