Langfur co-winner of The Warren Dean Memorial Book Prize (2024)

Hal Langfur, associate professor in the Department of History, is the co-winner of The Warren Dean Memorial Book Prize (2024) for his recently published book, "Adrift on an Inland Sea: Misinformation and the Limits of Empire in the Brazilian Backlands." This prize was awarded by the Conference on Latin American History.
