Sarah Handley-Cousins, associate teaching professor in the Department of History co-wrote a book with three other UB doctoral alumni. "Spiritualism's Place: Reformers, Seekers, and Seances in Lily Dale," is a history of Lily Dale, NY, the spiritualist intentional community located near Fredonia.
The book is a product of "Dig: A History Podcast," which has hundreds of listeners and is used in college syllabi around the country. The book was published by Cornell University Press in October.
