Alumni Feature: Sandra Notaro

Sandra Notaro, (Sustainability Leadership), is also making an impact in our community as a sustainability specialist with the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning.  After starting as an intern in 2022, Notaro advanced to her current role later that year. Her work has already contributed to several major initiatives, including helping to finalize the Erie County Community Climate Action Plan, serving as a junior project manager for the Community Forestry Partnership Project, and securing a $4 million grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Water Quality Improvement Project Program in partnership with the Erie County Parks Department.
