Choosing a PhD program was one of the biggest decisions of my life. I decided to attend UB because of its reputation for rigorous, high-quality research training. I received this and so much more. The outstanding research, clinical, and teaching experiences I had set me up for success in my current position as a Postdoctoral Associate. One thing I could not have predicted were the relationships I would form, but they turned out to be the highlight of my time at UB. My mentors, supervisors, and fellow students created a nurturing and supportive environment and remain important parts of my life today. Ultimately, UB formed who I am as a clinical scientist and I would choose it all over again.
