BS in Psychology, UB;
DPT, Physical Therapy
I began my academic career at UB undecided on which major to embark on. Upon taking Introductory Psychology, I became drawn to the concept of getting a better understanding of human behavior. Although I don’t work in the field of psychology now, the knowledge I acquired throughout my time with UB’s Psychology Department has been crucial in aiding my ability to provide optimal care as a licensed Physical Therapist, focusing on patients with neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders. My advice to students is to have an open mind when sitting in Psychology classes, as the topics covered can be useful in aspects of your life that you don’t expect.
