College Ambassadors

CAS College Ambassadors.

Connect with students who know UB firsthand

Starting college is easier when you can talk to students who have already found their place on campus. College Ambassadors in the College of Arts and Sciences help prospective and current students learn more about life at UB, academic opportunities and how to get involved across the university community.

Our College Ambassadors are undergraduate student leaders nominated by faculty and staff for their academic achievement, leadership and campus involvement. They represent the College at events throughout the year and help students and families feel more connected from the very beginning.

Through the program, ambassadors also participate in leadership development and networking opportunities with faculty, staff and alumni.

What do you like best about your department?
I love the department of romance languages and literatures because it’s such a small group that you feel really seen, heard and appreciated in every class. I’ve had so many opportunities to connect and speak with my professors and peers one on one, and get to know them well. It feels like it’s own little community, and it’s been a great experience so far!

What advice do you have for future UB students?
I think that future students at UB should take advantage of their time at UB and get involved in as many different things as possible. UB provides the environment for such an enriching experience with opportunities to meet friends, find a sense of community and develop yourself academically, personally and professionally. Future students should keep their eye out for any opportunity they might be interested in because it all starts with getting involved.
