Bio

Jared is a teacher and scholar-activist with a primary focus on race and social justice. He is currently involved in food and racial justice efforts in Buffalo and Western New York, and also has professional experience in: justice, equity diversity and inclusion (JEDI); higher education administration; and nonprofit community development. Jared is passionate about teaching, and emphasizes creating inclusive courses that empower students to take leadership over both their own learning and the learning of their peers.
