Bachelor of Arts Program

We maintain a high quality BA program for students who wish to pursue alternative career paths that require a strong geological background, such as Environmental Law or Earth Science teaching at the secondary education level. This degree offers more flexibility in coursework and is not designed for students who intend to become geologists in industry (See BS Program).

Acceptance Criteria: Applications should be made after completion of the first introductory course: GLY 101 Natural Hazards or GLY 102 Climate Change. A grade of C or better in that course and an overall average of at least 2.0 is required.
