The Department of Art has two very active art galleries dedicated to exhibiting student, faculty, and local, national and international artists. The galleries are open to the public, offering a look at undergratuate, graduate and contemporary art and practices from around the globe. In addition these galleries host artist talks, lectures and events, providing an expanded art educational resource for our students and the Buffalo community at large.
As our resources grow we look to be providing some live talks and recorded lectures online, along with archives of past exhibitions.
See the Project Space Page for the exhibition reservation request form for that gallery.
Lower Gallery exhibition requests should be directed to the Art Resource Manager by email, and will be discussed with the Gallery Committee on an ad hoc basis. Requests to guest curate a show can only be considered at least 6 months in advance, and must be endorsed by an instructor in the Department of Art.
For space rental requests for single day events, email the Art Resource Manager.
