In addition to our well-equipped labs and studio spaces, we offer art and design students three popular service centers.
The Department of Art's Service Centers are primarily intended for the use of UB's Department of Art students. These services made available to all UB students, campus, and non-campus entities whose purpose aligns with the University’s Mission, Vision, and Goals. Our focus is on excellent creative research and activity that has a positive benefit on local and global communities. We support entrepreneurial non-commercial public service that strengthens programs and partnerships that contribute to the social, cultural and economic vitality of Western New York.
The ARC provides AV equipment loans and sells specialty items for course work not readily available at local vendors to students, faculty, and staff. Primarily intended for the use of UB Department of Art students, this service is made available to all UB students, campus, and non-campus entities whose purpose aligns with the University’s educational mission and non-commercial public service.
The BAP provides archival or long-term photographic and graphic large format printing services on a variety of substrates.
The LCL provides laser cutting and engraving on specific list of substrates to students, faculty, and staff. All services are primarily intended for course assignments, studio work and exhibition requirements of Department of Art students.
