Becker gathered at this memorial conference, sponsored by the Journal of Human Capital and the Becker Friedman Institute, celebrating Becker’s research on human capital and discussing recent advances in the areas of education, human capital formation and technological innovation and immigration.
  • Isaac Ehrlich named to National Academy of Sciences panel

    The panel will examine — among many other relevant issues — the implications of immigration on long-term economic growth, as well as the role of human capital in strengthening productivity, fostering structural change, and encouraging economic growth and development.
