    Peter Balogh is a 2020-2021 UB College Ambassador for the Department of Economics and is preparing to pursue a Masters in Economics while also minoring in Media Studies. As a College Ambassador, he was nominated by the faculty of the Department of Economics to represent the university and serve as a source of information for current and prospective students!

    The economics department congratulates Peter Balogh of West Hempstead, N.Y., who graduates summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in economics and a minor in media study on being recognized as Economic's Outstanding Senior.

    The NSF GRFP recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported STEM disciplines who are pursuing research-based master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited US institutions. The five-year fellowship includes three years of financial support including an annual stipend of $34,000 and a cost of education allowance of $12,000 to the institution.
