Todd Pugatch’s Research

Todd Pugatch, associate professor, studies education policies and programs that improve learning outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. His current grant-funded research examines performance-based school financing in Cameroon and personalized adaptive learning in Malawi. Since joining UB in 2024, he has collaborated with doctoral students in the department on field-based education research. His work has been published in leading economics and education policy journals.
