PhD candidate Sandipa Bhattacharjee receives People's Choice Award

The Department of Economics wishes to congratulate PhD candidate Sandipa Bhattacharjee. Sandipa recently won Second Place and the People's Choice Award at UB's seventh annual Three Minute Thesis competition. She is also a recipient of UB's Excellence in Research, Scholarship, and Creativity Award, which recognizes outstanding student research projects from throughout the university. Sandipa has presented her research at several conferences and colleges and will be joining Ramapo College of New Jersey as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics in Fall 2023.
