Xingyu Chen is currently a PhD student in Global Gender Studies program. She was born and raised in China (PRC). She holds Bachelor of Arts in English from Nanjing Normal University, China, and a Master of Science in International Commerce and Policy from Valparaiso University, United States. She joined the Global Gender and Sexuality Studies department as an MA student, then decided to stay for her PhD, with the focus on war and fertility patterns, conflict-induced exposomes and women’s reproductive health in Asian countries after WWII. Additionally, she is also a Webmaster and Accessibility Tester in both the virtual world and real world.
