BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The University at Buffalo Office of Career Services will dedicate its newly remodeled career library as the Brent D. Arcangel Career Resource Library at 10 a.m. on March 23 in 259 Capen Hall on UB's North (Amherst) Campus.

The library was named by the UB Council in memory of Arcangel, M.A. '03, B.S. '01, who worked in UB's Office of Career Services at the time of his death in July 2003. The renovation was funded by a generous contribution from Arcangel's family.

As a graduate assistant and then as a career counselor, Arcangel demonstrated a commitment to the career development of UB students and helping them plan their futures.

"UB takes great pride in the life and accomplishments of Brent," said Dennis Black, UB vice president for student affairs. "Those of us who had the pleasure of knowing him are aware of his love for UB and enthusiasm for career services. We hope this library will be one small way of recognizing his contribution to our lives, to UB and to the many students he helped."

Arcangel was a native of Hamburg.
