Jorge Guitart retires after more than 40 years at UB

On Dec. 6, 2019, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures fêted Prof. Jorge Guitart on the occasion of his retirement after more than 40 years of work at the University at Buffalo.  Many of Jorge's past and present students, colleagues, and friends were on hand to extend congratulations on his teaching, research and service achievements over the years.  Those unable to be present sent notes--and vidoes--of appreciation  from  around the world to wish Jorge and Sarah the best on their new adventures.  Sincere thanks to Jorge on all that he has contributed to the department.  And don't be a stranger!
