Student Language Research Celebration
The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures and The Department of Linguistics are pleased to announce the 2024 Student Language Research Celebration.
When and Where
Date: April 29, 2024
Time: 1-4 p.m.
Location: 904 Clemens Hall
Eligible Presentations
Students are invited to submit a short (300-word) explanation of their project in preparation for a 10-15 minute presentation, with 5-10 minutes available for discussion, depending on the number of presentations accepted.
Projects that explore language in a wide range of ways are welcome. Honors theses, independent study projects, term projects, and collaborations with mentoring students and faculty are encouraged. Topics can include things like linguistics, literary analysis, language education, and others.
The deadline for submissions is Monday April 15, 2024 at 5 p.m. Confirmation of acceptance emails will go out later that week and will include instructions for reserving a time for your presentation.
