The students' academic achievement and commitment to Spanish qualified them for membership in this prestigious honor society. The University at Buffalo has had a chapter of Sigma Delta Pi for over fifty years, joining more than 600 chapters across the US. The ideals of the group include fostering understanding between speakers of English and Spanish.
