This spring 2023 the SPA152 students have been working all semester long on an Oral History project, where they have had the opportunity to interview a number of people from the local community, family members, and friends in order to investigate topics related to immigration and identity.
Students presented their work in a series of public informal “Poster”-Style Presentations on Wednesday, May 10th. Faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate students from Romance Languages and Literatures attended the presentations and engaged with the student presenters in lively and informative conversations (in Spanish and English). Kudos to the 152 students and their instructors, Jamison García-Ramírez, Marietta Fernández and Alex Bakke, for an amazing job.
