Bio

Keith Ersing graduated from The State University of New York at Fredonia in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Music Education.  For the past seven years, he has been the Choral/Drama Director at West Seneca West Senior High School.  He received his Masters degree in Music Education from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, in 2003.  There he had the opportunity to work with such distinguished music professors as:  Dr. Andre Thomas, Dr. Judy Bowers, Dr. Kevin Fenton, and Dr. Clifford Madsen.  He was honored to be the guest choral conductor for the Allegany Senior High All County Chorus (2009), Niagara County Senior High All County Chorus (2004) and (2008), Chautauqua County Senior High All County Chorus (2005), SUNY Fredonia Alumni Concert (2005), NYSSMA Zone 1 Junior High Area All-State (2006), Chautauqua County Senior High All County Women’s Chorus (2006).  Additionally, he is on the voice faculty at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he works with the musical theatre majors.

Mr. Ersing is also actively involved in Buffalo’s Professional Theatre community.  Some of his favorite musical theatre credits include:  The History Channel’s Documentary, The Hauntings of New York; The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert version of Fiddler on the Roof; Bat Boy (Studio Arena/Musicalfare); Aida, The Full Monty, and Beauty & the Beast “Cogsworth” (Artpark); Pippin and Tapestry (Musicalfare); Suburb (Alleyway Theatre); and Anything Goes (Kavinoky Theatre).
