A Grand Island Native, Jill Neuhaus attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA as a Voice Performance major. She received her Master’s Degree in Music Education from The University at Buffalo and has been the choral director at Kenmore East High School for 18 years. At Kenmore East, Jill Neuhaus is the Music Department Chair, conducts three choirs and teaches Vocal Jazz and traditional voice lessons. Jill Neuhaus has guest conducted across Niagara and Erie County and also enjoys adjudicating at NYSSMA and various other music festivals throughout the WNY Area. In 2016, she was awarded Buffalo State’s Music Educator of the Year.
Jill Neuhaus is best known locally as a Soprano soloist. She has performed with such groups as The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, Buffalo Choral Arts Society, Ars Nova and Buffalo Chamber Players, to name a few. Jill Neuhaus currently sings with Harmonia Chamber Singers and has three beautiful and talented children: Claire, 13, and 10 year old twins Luke & Lily.
