Stage Management
Melinda Lamoreux (Clinical Assistant Professor, Stage Management) arrived at UB after spending twelve years as the Production Stage Manager for Connecticut Repertory Theatre, the producing arm of the Department of Dramatic Arts at the University of Connecticut. A native Iowan, she spent six years with Houston’s Alley Theatre as a PSM, serving as Edward Albee’s stage manager, and as a German language interpreter/stage management liaison for the Alley’s exchange with the Youth Theatre of Vilnius, Lithuania. After Houston, she relocated to New England and was the PSM at Chiswick Park Theatre in Sudbury, MA; Boston’s Huntington Theatre; and the White River Theatre Festival in Vermont before heading to Connecticut. She is thrilled to join the Department of Theatre and Dance, and is grateful for the support and friendship offered her by her new colleagues.
