Congratulations to the "Eurydice" Team!

UB Theatre and Dance’s production of Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl received a response from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) Region 2.

As a result, honors were awarded.  Please join us in congratulating those who have received recognition for their exceptional work.

Irene Ryan Acting Scholarship Nominations:

E Lyons (Scenic Design), Katja Rabus (Costume Design), and Tim Nunez (Stage Management)

Department Chair Eero Laine also praised the creative team at the conclusion of the weekend run.

Please join me in congratulating the cast, designers, and crew of Eurydice on a successful run! Many thanks to Jon Elston for directing such an impressive production. The design of the show transported us to an entirely new place and took full advantage of the opportunities of the Black Box Theatre. Congrats to the actors for developing such warm and thoughtful characterizations. The production had a grace and humor to it that was very welcome--thank you to all involved for a great night of theatre. I hope the week before spring break treats everyone well and I am looking forward to the second half of our season!
