UB Dance Announces New Scholarship for Incoming First-Year Dance Students

UB Dance is excited to announce a new scholarship for incoming first-year dance students, starting in Fall 2026!

The Mr. Tom Ralabate UB Dance Organization Award provides financial assistance to incoming first-year dance majors who are affiliated with active member teachers in good standing with the following national dance organizations: the Chicago National Association of Dance Masters (CNADM.com), Dance Masters of America, Inc. (DMANational.org), and Dance Teachers Club of Boston (DTCB.wildapricot.org).

This one-time award is presented upon successful completion of the student’s first semester and is selected by a committee of UB Dance faculty based on outstanding academic, creative, and practical work demonstrated throughout the student’s first semester. 

UB Dance is proud of its strong history of awarding student scholarships. This new award will add to the nearly $20,000 each year that students can apply for across 12 different dance specific scholarships.
