Fall is the season of change, and so too for the Department of Theatre and Dance. We are pleased and excited to welcome many new faculty and staff members this semester, as well as to announce the appointment of Eero Laine, PhD as new Department Chair.
Timiyah Love is a Buffalo-based actor, who was also born and raised in the area. She recently earned her Bachelor in Fine Arts as a Theatre Performance student from SUNY Buffalo in the spring of 2021 and continues her education here, working towards a Master’s degree in Theatre and Performance Studies. She has begun the final year of the two-year program.

Second year MFA Dance candidate Anna Caison Boyd is a choreographer, teacher, and performer from South Carolina. She graduated from Oklahoma City University’s Ann Lacy School of Dance and Entertainment Business in 2020 and is currently pursuing an MFA at UB with a Teaching Assistantship position.
