Joint Major

A joint major combines two majors leading to the same degree (e.g., two majors within a BA, BS or BFA), but unlike the double major, does not require completion of all of the requirements of each major.

Selecting a Joint Major

Joint degrees require fewer credits than a double major. The joint major is created by combining requirements from each major as determined by the student and the directors of undergraduate studies in each department (for each major).

Students can blend their interests in two majors without having to meet all of the requirements for each major.
