Academic Advising

  • Referring students to appropriate campus resources such as Career Design Center, Counseling Services, Study Abroad, Teacher Education Institute, Accessibility Resources, International Student Services, etc.
  • Introducing students to information on internships, research and volunteer opportunities, other academic programs, clubs, etc.
Not sure where to start?

Many students enter UB unsure of where they'd like to major. Other students have a clear idea when they begin, but soon figure out what they've chosen isn't for them. The Student Advisement and Services Office can help you find the perfect fit.
