The Student Advisement and Services Office assists undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences to meet their academic and career goals.

Driven by student success and commitment to UB, highly trained professional academic advisors are available to support students and guide them through their undergraduate experience.

Undergraduate Student Support

  • Guiding new students with their initial advisement and enrollment.
  • Helping undergraduate students navigate the college experience. 
  • Discussing College of Arts and Sciences majors and minors.
  • Answering questions about UB Curriculum courses and requirements and related academic issues.
  • Assisting students facing academic difficulties.
  • Referring students to appropriate campus resources such as Career Design Center, Counseling Services, Study Abroad, Teacher Education Institute, Accessibility Resources, International Student Services, etc.
  • Introducing students to information on internships, research and volunteer opportunities, other academic programs, clubs, etc.
