Ever wonder what it’s really like to be a student at the University at Buffalo? Now’s your chance to find out.

Step 1: Explore Classes

Take a seat in a real college classroom and see what sparks your curiosity.

  • Browse courses from our departments below— from psychology to theatre, biological sciences to history and everything in between!
  • Find something that fits your interests or challenges your perspective.
  • Want to learn more about a particular class before you make your choice? Search it in our course catalog for a full description.
How do I search the course catalog?

The two or three letter abbreviation (example: TH or ECO) is the course prefix and the number that follows (example: 106 or 182) is the course code or number. Enter them into the corresponding spaces in the search bar to find the class you're looking for.

Step 2: Register to Visit

Found a class that interests you? Great—now pick a date and time that works.

  • Classes are organized by department, so you can find your subject area easily. Please reference the full list at the top of this page if you're not sure which department houses the class that interests you.
  • Once you’ve made your choice, complete the registration form to reserve your spot.
