Cassil's 2016 Short Film 103 Shots (2:36) will be screened via Zoom and
followed by a virtual discussion moderated by the exhibition’s curator.
Responding to the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, 103
Shots examines the disorienting effect of violence in the space of intimacy. In
preparation for the screening, you might review the accompanying essay “The
Sound of Every Night Life” by Cassils’ artistic collaborator and performance
