Equipment Offerings

  • For the full list of our current inventory, please visit the ARC in room B41 of the CFA.
    • Please note that the inventory is subject to availability, as items may be on loan or otherwise unavailable.
    • We strive to replace faulty or missing equipment, and gradually purchase new resources to add to this borrowing collection. Inventory that is lost or damaged may take time to replace, so we cannot guarantee continual availability of all items listed in the inventory spreadsheet.
    • If you have any questions about our resources, please email the Art Resource Manager, see below.

ARC Loan Policy

  • Loan inquiries may be handled by email: daarc@buffalo.edu
  • Loans are made in person & logged manually – your UB ID may be requested.
  • Loans are for a two-week duration.
  • Loans may be renewed once.
  • Loans must be returned whole and in working order by the borrower.
  • Loan privileges are suspended until late or missing items are returned.
  • Loans lost by the borrower may be billed to the student’s account.
  • If equipment is found to be broken or incomplete during a loan by the borrower, they should contact the Art Resource Manager immediately. Broken equipment found to have been damaged by negligence of the borrower will need to be replaced by the borrower, at their own expense.
