Prof. Chris Li has received the 2025-2026 UB Exceptional Scholar Young Investigator Award. This award celebrates the superior achievement of a junior faculty member in their field of study, who has distinguished themselves as an up-and-coming scholar.
As part of a 5-year, $5 mil. grant from NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation, UB will lead a group of other colleges and universities dedicated to strengthening New York's leadership in scientific initiatives across the broader Great Lakes basin.
Nicholas Reilly, a recent chemical engineering alum from the University at Buffalo, has received the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF GRFP) award.
