Why did you choose economics?

AT: I chose economics because it provides a strong foundation for understanding policy decisions at the national level, while also serving as a framework for analyzing how individuals and businesses make rational choices.

Which class in the major has been your favorite and why?

AT: International Economics (ECO 435) because it gave me a clear understanding of global economic relationships and how they influence international trade policies.

Which class outside the major has been your favorite and why?

AT: The Second World War (HIS 293). I love learning about history, but this class stands out to me because it explores the details of World War 2 and the rise of fascism in Europe, both of which I find fascinating.

What is one thing that you recommend students do while at UB?

AT: Try out some new clubs on campus, even if you don’t know much about them. There’s a club for just about everything at UB and if you try a few of them, you might end up discovering some new interests.
