This minor offers a broad foundation in geology, from natural hazards to climate change, providing insight into the dynamic forces that shape our planet. While attending Geology Field Camp is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended for hands-on experience and deeper engagement with the subject.

Acceptance Criteria

Students should apply after completing these introductory courses:

  • Natural Hazards or Climate Change
  • Natural Hazards and Climate Change Lab

To qualify, students must achieve:

  • C grade or better in the required introductory courses.
  • An overall average of at least 2.0.
