We maintain a high quality Geological Sciences BA track for students who wish to pursue alternative career paths that require a strong geological background, such as Environmental Law or Earth Science teaching at the secondary education level. This degree offers more flexibility in coursework and is not designed for students who intend to become geologists in industry (See Geological Sciences BS)
Acceptance Criteria: Applications should be made after completion of the introductory courses: GLY 101 Natural Hazards or GLY 102 Climate Change AND GLY 105 Natural Hazards and Climate Change Lab. A grade of C or better in these courses and an overall average of at least 2.0 is required.
