This winter, the Department of History introduced
Early Recognition Awards to honor undergraduate students for outstanding performances in a HIS 301 Seminar or a 400-level History seminar during the fall semester. These new awards recognize exemplary commitment to historical writing and research, as demonstrated in a seminar paper. The first cohort of award winners includes Eoin Burns, Josephine Dunn, Julia Giacona, Daniel Hayden, Jack Phinney, Darcy Winter, and Layba Zamann. Our warm congratulations!
