Linguistics Minor

Acceptance Criteria

Minimum 2.0 overall GPA; minimum 2.5 GPA in LIN 205 and 207

Degree Requirements (18 credits)

  • Core Linguistics courses (12 credits): LIN 205, LIN 207, LIN 301, LIN 302
  • Two additional Linguistics courses, including courses offered by the Chinese, German, Japanese, or Korean tracks

Apply to the Minor

Submit the CAS Major/Minor Change Request form to request one of the following changes to your academic plan:

  • Add a major, minor, or certificate in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • Drop any major
  • Drop any minor
