Non-music majors may enroll for private music lessons subject to available studio space, instructor availability, and a student's skill level. We do not offer lessons to complete beginners, though the department does offer beginner group courses in piano (Mus 155) and guitar (Mus 216).

Answering the questions below will help us gauge your current ability. We may also ask you to submit a recording of you playing/singing, or arrange for you to play/sing for one of our current faculty.
