UB Preisdent John B. Simpson will give his annual community address on Wednesday in Asbury Hall.

BUFFALO, N.Y. – University at Buffalo President John B. Simpson will give his annual, and final, community address to Western New York residents at 8 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, in Asbury Hall, 341 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.

Simpson is expected to give an update on UB efforts to help the region build a better quality of life and vibrant future, and detail what is needed to extend progress of the UB 2020 strategic plan.

Simpson, who has announced his plans to retire Jan. 15, also will use the speech to express his gratitude to the community for all its support during his seven-year administration.

The president's speech is expected to start promptly at 8 a.m. and be completed by 9 a.m.

Additional, but limited, parking is available in the Buffalo Club parking lot, 388 Delaware Ave.
