Jake Kathman's new book Peacekeeping in the Midst of War (with Lisa Hultman and Megan Shannon). 2020. Oxford, UK: Oxford University Press, was awarded the "Best Book Award for books published in 2018 and 2019" by the Conflict Processes Section of the American Political Science Association. Congratulations Jake!
Political science professors say they help students develop both hard skills, such as data analysis, and soft skills, such as communication abilities. A degree in political science can lead to a career in the public or private sector. Included in the USNews article is Dr. Joshua Meddaugh who graduated from UB in 2012 with his PhD in Political Science.
