PhD in Clinical Psychology, UB;
Postdoctoral Research Associate
I received exceptional training, mentorship, and support during my time in the Department of Psychology at UB. I also made great friends. The faculty emphasized scientific rigor and critical thought, which helped me grow as a scientist and clinician. The department is a collaborative and congenial environment, which enables students to thrive. I took advantage of the many opportunities available for new research and clinical experiences. In addition, I had the opportunity to teach, provide clinical supervision, and engage in leadership roles. I can confidently say that my training at UB has made me well-prepared for my current position as a Postdoctoral Researcher and for a future career in clinical research. In fact, my current day-to-day decisions are often guided by things I learned at UB. For new graduate students, I recommend working closely with your mentors to set clear goals as you progress and seek guidance when you need it.
