Recording with Panopto gives faculty and staff tools for video and screen recording, editing and sharing, all in one place and from any device. Panopto with an excellent tool for creating prerecorded content for online courses and can be integrated with UB Learns. Here are a few resources on how you can record with Panopto.

A student can look at the table of contents and skip over the video to answer a quiz. But there's an option to block students from advancing over a quiz until they've answered all the questions and click continue.
The question is marked wrong if a student doesn't choose all the correct answers.
If students in your class require captions as a disability accommodation, have the student contact Accessibility Resources. Accessibility Resources will notify you of documented accommodations you can enter in your class or use with the integrated tools.
Panopto's built-in Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) feature makes it easy to caption videos to make them accessible to people with hearing impairments and others who find captions useful. The captions can then be refined manually.
Use the transcription request form to submit your information to assist you with your closed captioning/transcription on your UB Panopto or Zoom video.
After you submit the transcription request form, you will receive a notification about how to upload your video to a Box folder. If you have any questions, please contact Jay Stockslader, Director of Online Learning and Continuing Education in the College of Arts and Sciences.
This service is for general transcription of your class, presentation or workshop video. If you have students needing transcription services specifically for accessibility, please contact Accessibility Resources. Accessibility Resources may be able to fund the outsourcing of closed captioning/transcription of your class videos.
We can only assist your class with UB Panopto or Zoom class videos for educational purposes.
Videos submitted for this closed captioning/transcription service must be for continuous viewing or used multiple times for educational purposes.
