Study Abroad and Exchange Programs

Graduate Students with an active UB Teaching Assistantship are eligible for an exchange program (one academic year) with Université Paris Cité in France.

Teaching at the Université Paris Cité Department of English and American Studies offers a unique opportunity to establish academic relationships with scholars in France, conduct dissertation research or do fieldwork in preparation for a future grant, and take advantage of all Parisienne resources. 

Compensation
Teaching Assistants typically teach English language and conversation sections. A total of 300 hours of yearly service are required, which translates to approx. 12 hours per week in the classroom. Compensation for this service is approximately 17,835 € for the academic year. 

Room and Board
Room and board is the responsibility of the Teaching Assistant.
