Congratulations to Noor Ismail on being named recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence, the highest honor SUNY bestows upon its undergraduates numbering over 328,000. Ismail graduates with a BS in biological sciences and business administration, with a concentration in international business.

An Honors College scholar and Phi Beta Kappa member, she has held several leadership roles, including executive director of public relations and chief communications officer for the SUNY Student Assembly. She also is president of the UB Supply Chains and Operations Management Club and a member of the senior associate board for the New York Birth Control Access Project. Ismail is a student-athlete tutor, teaching assistant for evolutionary biology, research assistant in the School of Public Health and Health Professions and a College of Arts and Sciences ambassador.
