Xinle Pang, Ph.D., is an applied economist with interests in international trade and economic geography. His research focuses on using both micro data and quantitative structural model to understand the spatial distribution of economic activities. His recent projects include studying the spatial mismatch between residence and workplace in the New York Metropolitan Area, unpacking the role of wealth in household migration decision, and examining the effect of aging and depopulation on spatial inequality in Japan. Xinle Pang received his Ph.D. in Economics from Pennsylvania State University in 2023.
