Kegon Tan, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Economics. He is also an affiliate of the Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility, and a member of the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group. His research examines disparities across multiple dimensions of well-being, including human capital (broadly defined), health, and crime. Understanding the drivers behind these gaps can help to narrow inequalities and improve mobility across generations.
